VoucherCodes: TV campaign

You know those voucher codes sites - we've all had a go! Win some, lose some. Except, with VoucherCodes.co.uk - win every time, guaranteed. They wanted young family types to know this. The media plan was based around TV. I developed a strategy that leaned into two resurgent trends: brand mascots for trust and memorability, and humour for its ability to humanise the brand and make it more relatable. And, you know, brighten people’s day! I wrote a spot introducing a mascot character: The Whisperer. Her bold yellow suit (what a suit!) screams the brand’s new visual identity. The optimism of the film shows that saving money doesn’t have to be dry - it can spark joy. Filmed in a single day, the ad features The Whisperer popping up in everyday moments, reminding people how easy it is to save with VoucherCodes. It ran across Channel 4, Channel 5, and Sky TV, VOD, and social, supported by custom social assets. Loved working with the talent, a super fun project that the brand has now put media behind a number of times, so it's doing its job.
